Students
are attempting to enroll via self service or employees are attempting to enroll
students via Enrollment Request and are receiving the following error message:
'No access to enrollment at this time' or 'Invalid access to enrollment transaction (14640,69)'
'No access to enrollment at this time' or 'Invalid access to enrollment transaction (14640,69)'
The error
messages above indicate that there is a setup problem with enrollment security
setup that is preventing the user from processing enrollment transactions.
If the user
is an employee using Enrollment Request or Quick Admit, make sure that this
user has been assigned to an enrollment access id. This is done at the
following navigation:
SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration
> Setup > Enrollment Security Table.
If an enrollment access id or enrollment access group exists for this user, you must then verify that there is a time period assigned to the enrollment function that the user is attempting to process.
Check this at SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration > Setup > Enrollment Security Table. Pull up the enrollment access id that has been assigned to the user (either directly or via the self service permissin list) and check the time period specified for the enrollment, drop function and normal maintenance functions. If a time period is assigned that is not 9999 or 0000 (forever or no access), then you also need to check the Term/Session table to see what date is assigned to that Time Period. If the date has passed, or if the enrollment function is assigned the 0000 time period, this error is expected and you would need to change the time period or the date assigned to it to be able to enroll via Quick Admit or Enrollment Request.
If the user is a student using self service enrollment, the information above is also applicable except that for students, the Enrollment Access ID is attached to the student via the student's Primary Permission List (the primary permission list is assigned to the student via Peopletools > Security > User ID).

The enrollment access id for self service users is set up at Setup
SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration > Permission List
>Self Serv Enrollment Perm List. The enrollment access ID is attached to
this permission list at Setup SACR > Security > Secure Student
Administration > Permission List > Enrollment Security.
