• Applies.
• Is admitted.
• Ultimately graduates.
You link a single academic program to a single academic career.

Academic Program Rules

An academic program defines the values and calculation rules for:
• Academic level.
• Academic load.
• Academic group (for tuition calculation purposes).
• Admissions evaluation schemes.
• Academic calendar.

Academic Program Determinations
Academic programs are associated with the campuses where the programs are offered. A student is admitted into an academic program at a particular campus.

Setting Up Academic Plans
Academic plans can be linked to academic programs or academic careers. Typically, academic plans represent one of the following:
• Major program of study.
• Minor program of study.
• Specialization.

Degrees
A student can earn one degree for a single academic plan. If your institution offers dual degrees, you must establish separate plans for each degree and award them separately.

Academic Plan Setup
An academic plan must be linked either to an academic program or an academic career.

Academic Subplans
Academic subplans are areas of specialization within academic plans. They are directly linked to the academic plan.
