You can use Powercfg.exe to get status of you laptop power consumption
Run Below Command in Windows 7 and upward
powercfg -energy -output c:\energy-report.html
You can also use the Powercfg.exe tool to control power settings and configure computers to default to Hibernate or Standby modes.
