Elapsed Time Reporter
Report time in increment s of hours or partial hours
Punch Time Reporter
Report every aspect of time; precise instances of date and time.
Exception Time Reporter
Report only differences to the usual schedule
Positive Time Reporting
Reporting all elements of time; must report hours worked in order to get paid.
Exception Time Reporting
Report only differences to the assumed schedule.
Exception
User or system delivered, defined conditions applied to scheduled, reported or payable time that require audit or review.
Task Template
Controls the task related fields that appear on the time reporting panels and TCDs.
Task Entity
Individual components of a task; for example Project ID, Activity ID
Task Profile
Select the default values for each task element on the template; “fill in the blanks”
Taskgroup
Identifies the default time reporting templates, task template, and task profile(s) for time reporters that share the same task reporting requirements.
TRC – Time Reporting Code
Level at which a business actually needs to track employee time to support all of its administrative and compensation needs. Can be synched to NA Payroll Earnings Codes.

Workgroup
Groups of employees who share identical compensation requirements; each employee in T&L must belong to a workgroup

Sequential patterns of workdays on and off, along with the number of scheduled work hours for each period.

TCD
Time Collection Device; apparatus the records time
TCD Group
A collection of TCDs; allows for employees to report time at various TCDs within the group; assign TCD supervisor to a TCD Group.

Dynamic Group
Group of time reporters; Updated automatically when you run a batch process or use the system refresh feature
Static Group
Group of time reporters; does not change unless you add or remove members manually or change selection criteria.
Earliest Change Date
The date under report of the earliest addition or update to time-related data for a time reporter since the last Time Admin run; the earliest change date helps determine both the range of dates and the amount of data that will be processed for each time reporter.
Period of Interest
The maximum date range; begin an end dates for determining how much data to load into working tables and for which periods a rules should be processed.
Labor Distribution
Process of allocating costs back to payable time
Labor Dilution
Process of allocating costs that are proportionate to the number of hours worked.
Prior Period
Any period prior to the current one
Prior Period Adjustment
A change to previously reported time or task information that requires the original report to be offset and the correct information to be recorded.
Time Period
Allow you to enter, process, and report on time data for specific segments of time; used in reporting time, rules processing, attendance tracking; distinguish between the current and prior period.

Define time range and time break within a workday that is based on your company’s requirements.
